Congressman Richard Hudson
A member of the Republican Party, Hudson was elected in January of 2013 as the United States Representative for North Carolina’s 8th congressional district. Hudson graduated from the UNC Charlotte in 1996 and currently serves as the president of Cabarrus Marketing Group, a small business consulting firm. From 2000 to 2005, Hudson has served as district director for 8th District Congressman Robin Hayes and the communications director for the North Carolina Republican Party. Hudson serves on the Committee on Agriculture, the Committee on Education and the Workforce, and the Committee on Homeland Security.
