Treat mom to a special Mother’s Day event at the Gantt Center. Cellist Kendall Ramseur will be performing in the Grand Lobby from 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m., prior to a screening of the movie “Daughters of the Dust,” the first independent film written, directed and produced by an African American woman named Julie Dash. The movie is based on the Gullah culture on the Sea Islands.
