Join the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art for the documentary “The Pruitt-Igoe Myth,” which follows the story of Pruitt-Igoe, a public housing development in St. Louis. The complex was expected to be a solution to inner-city overcrowding by providing family life and neighborhood-style living in a high rise. But it quickly became a source of problems and dispute. A presentation by former Mayor Harvey Gantt will precede the screening. Gantt is co-founder of Gantt Huberman Architects.
