Charlotte-Mecklenburg police arrested a suspect on Thursday accused of breaking and entering into a house in west Charlotte.
33-year-old Frederick Devon Hood has been charged with breaking and entering and larceny for allegedly attempting to steal a television from a house on Ridgevalley Drive.
According to a police report, officers responded to a 911 call from a witness describing a man leaving a neighbor’s home carrying a flat screen television after reportedly breaking in.
Police said they located Hood a short time later. Officers transported the witness to the area of Hood’s detainment and positively identified him as the suspect in this incident, police said.
