Charlotte-Mecklenburg detectives arrested a man on Tuesday morning for his suspected involvement in a shooting at the N.C. Music Factory.
Police arrested Harold Radford Porter, 32, at a residence in south Charlotte off of Bon-Rea Road. He has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and has other charges pending.
According to a police report, officers responded to a call for service at the N.C. Music Factory early on Monday morning and found a victim with an apparent gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to Carolinas Medical Central-Main for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Detectives with the Homicide/ADW Unit responded to the scene to investigate.
Detectives said they gathered enough information to determine the shooter was Porter and obtained warrants for his arrest.
