Charlotte-Mecklenburg police arrested a man allegedly attempting to steal from a vehicle in central Charlotte early on Sunday morning.
Plainclothes police officers said they were on duty to prevent larceny from vehicles when they observed Timothy Michael Kennedy, 32, enter a window of a car parked in the 1500 block of South Church Street.
Police said Kennedy was ordered out of the vehicle and arrested. He has been charged with breaking and entering a motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia.
