Update Feb. 27: The Charlotte-Mecklenburg VCAT has located and arrested McCreary.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Violent Criminal Apprehension Team (VCAT) issued a wanted poster for 23-year-old Anthony McCreary.
According to police, on Monday McCreary took off his CMPD electronic monitor he was ordered to wear as a condition of his release from jail on Sep. 15, 2012. He was last seen on Kimberly Glenn Lane.
McCreary has outstanding warrants for possession of a firearm by a felon, assault with a deadly weapon causing serious injury and interfering with an electronic monitoring device.
