Trinity Episcopal School, in partnership with Mecklenburg Ministries, invites the public to hear from Tim Wise, a prominent anti-racist writer and educator, as part of the School’s annual Freedom Fete celebration.

Named one of “25 Visionaries Who are Changing Your World,” Wise will discuss racial disparity in schools and provide steps for uprooting racism, privilege and institutional inequity. He has spoken on more than 800 college and high school campuses in all 50 states and to community groups across the nation on issues of comparative racism, race and education, and religion and institutions. Wise has appeared on hundreds of radio and television programs, is a regular contributor to discussion about race on CNN, and author of six books, including “White Like Me,” which will be available for purchase and signing following the event.
