The Urban League of Central Carolinas will host its 19th Annual Guild Golf Tournament on Sept. 21 at Birkdale Golf Club in Huntersville.

All of the proceeds from the tournament will support Urban League’s direct services, such as the LYTE (Linking Youth to Technology Everywhere) program, which provides computer technology training for youth ages 6-16 in Mecklenburg and Union counties.

The tournament also will provide funding for Urban League’s 21st Century Jobs training programs and its adult education program, which provides up-to-date computer skills training, resume writing and job placement assistance to the underemployed and unemployed.

Participants in the tournament are invited to a breakfast at 7:30 a.m., and the shotgun start begins at 9 a.m. An awards and recognition luncheon will follow the tournament.

Individual and team slots are available.

To register and for pricing, contact visit or call Shannon at (704) 373-2256, ext. 205.

Birkdale Golf Club is at 16500 Birkdale Commons Parkway in Huntersville.
