If you’re heading uptown for Labor Day events but want to avoid commuter headaches, Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) is reminding residents that it has a network of free park & ride lots (listed below).
Between Sept. 3 and Sept. 5, CATS bus routes that normally service the transit center will be re-routed to the temporary transit center. CATS will also provide a shuttle service from the LYNX Carson Street station.
Express bus routs do not operate on Labor Day.
