The Charlotte in 2012 Host Committee expects over 30,000 guests to attend CarolinaFest and join in celebrating the Carolinas, the South and Labor Day. This family friendly festival will feature a taste of the South with food vendors from around the region featuring their finest cuisine. The Vendor Village will tempt our guests with everything from artwork to candy. The Legacy Village will provide festival goers an opportunity to experience the great civic work being done within our community surrounding Mayor Foxx’s Legacy Programs-creating a healthier community, a more sustainable community, engaging and employing our youth, and creating a broader and more diverse economy. Roving performers and two stages programmed with exciting, national and regional Carolina talent will engage families throughout the day.
