Mr. John C. Douglas (J.D.) of Charlotte departed this life peacefully but unexpectedly on 
Monday July 2, 2012. He was 52 years old.
Mr. Douglas was born Jan. 29, 1960 in Baton Rouge, La.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 7, at 1 p.m. at Seigle Avenue Church of God (1620 Seigle Ave., Charlotte, NC).
He leaves behind a loving wife, Valerie M. Douglas; brother, Michael Douglas (Valarie) of Mt. Airy, NC; and sister, Juanita Lewis of Chester, SC.
Family and friends may offer condolences at the home.
Alexander Funeral Home is serving the Morrison family.
