Ruthie Withers of Charlotte passed away on June 26, 2012. She was 95 years old.
Ms. Withers was born on August 25, 1916, in Cabarrus County, N.C., to the late Charlie and Lula Love.
She is survived by her daughter, Ethel Hill; two sons, Charles Stewart and Alton Brooks. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Thomas Withers, her daughters, Mattie Hoover and Lula Stewart, and son, David Stewart.
Services will be held on Monday, July 2, at 12 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will be held in Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
