Adolphus Funderburk, Sr., of Charlotte, NC, died Sunday, January 29, 2012 at 
Presbyterian Hospital.
He was born October 4, 1929 in Chesterfield County, SC, and has been a Mason at Oak Hill Lodge #258 since 1955.
He is survived by his wife, Diana, of the home, children: Linda, Peggy, Adolphus, Jr., Kenneth, Onawa, and Nathan all of Charlotte AND Michael of Kuwait, and one step-son, Howard Dunlap of Hampton, VA.
A funeral service in honor of Adolphus will be held Friday, February 3, 2012, 12 p.m. at New Vision Ministries, 6425 Old Mt. Holly Rd., Charlotte, NC 28208. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the church.
After the service, the family will be gathering at the home of his daughter, Onawa, at 1013 Comstock Dr., Charlotte, 28217.
