Legendary reggae band the Wailers (renowned as Bob Marley’s musical sidemen) are slated to return to Charlotte — specifically the Amos’ Southend Stage — Tuesday, Nov. 29.

Fans of Marley’s iconic sound, or people just craving some authentic Caribbean music (which is a rare thing in the Queen City), should plan to be on hand. Seriously people … sleeping on a group that’s been making beautiful music since 1969 — a crew who has helped to sell more than 250 million records worldwide — should really be a crime. (Duane Stephenson and DJ Ceez open the show.)
Date: Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2011
Time: Doors open at 8 p.m.
Location: Amos’ Southend (1423 South Tryon St.)
Cost: $17 (advance); $20 (day of show)
