Crossroads Charlotte is hosting a community discussion on closing the gap on race, nationality and culture differences.

The goal of the event, called AboutFace: About BlackFace, is to encourage individuals to take a step toward understanding other cultures through open dialogue, said Crossroads Charlotte Consultant Brandi Williams.

ā€œWe have many diverse communities here in Charlotte,ā€ she said. ā€œSometimes what may seem acceptable in one culture will be unacceptable to another.ā€
