Born December 17, 1999, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Blair passed away unexpectedly on June 7, 2011 at Levine Children’s Hospital.
Blair was a young man full of life and love for others. Blair was a prideful student who accepted nothing less than excellence and was a recent 5th grade graduate of Indian Land Elementary School, Indian Land, South Carolina.
During his 11 years of life, he received numerous academic awards and honors. Blair was an avid reader and a faithful follower of Christ at Weeping Willow A.M.E. Zion Church.
Blair was a devoted and loving sibling to his twin brother Landon K. Blacknall. Blair is survived by his loving parents, Rodney and Patricia C. Blacknall; twin brother Landon K. Blacknall; maternal grandparents, Francis and Inez Davis of Matthews, NC; paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Blacknall of Henderson, NC; grandmother, Naomi Harris of Philadelphia, PA, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, godparents, and friends.
A homegoing service will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2011, 12 noon at Weeping Willow AME Zion Church, 2220 Milton Rd., Charlotte, NC. Visitation will take place 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon at the aforementioned address.
Burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, 1504 W. Sugar Creek Rd., Charlotte, NC.
Long & Son Mortuary Service of Charlotte is serving the family.
