Miss Jessetta Digsby was born January 20, 1974 to Robert Lee Digsby and the late Virgie Viola Garland Digsby in Charlotte, NC. She departed this life on Monday, March 14, 2011.
Jessetta was an employee of SunTrust Bank for more than 10 years where she served in several positions. She was known for her friendly service and beautiful smile.
Jessetta was a faithful member of Logan Chapel CME Church. Her love for Christ showed through her service at the church. She served on the Missionary Society, the Usher Board, Sunday School, 5th Sunday Choir and Board of Christian Education.
She also was active on the local and district levels of the CME Church. As a licensed exhorter, Jessetta used her gift of teaching faithfully in the children’s ministry. She expanded her spiritual growth in involvement in Bible Study Fellowship.
Jessetta is survived by two sisters, Crystaletina Faggart and Robin Holbrook; her niece, Torrey L. Faggart; her nephews, DeNickolis Faggart, Rhashad Holbrook, Rhyne Holbrook, and Rhahem “Bobby” Holbrook; maternal grandmother, Ruby Lee Garland. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins and distant relatives.
The funeral service is scheduled for 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 17 in the Long & Son Mortuary Chapel, 2312 Beatties Ford Road, Charlotte, NC.
