The Spelman College Glee Club will perform Friday, March 18, at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church on Beatties Ford Road.
For more than 50 years the group has had a reputation for choral excellence. Its repertoire consists of sacred and secular music for women’s voices with special emphasis on traditional spirituals, music by African-American composers, music from many cultures and commissioned works.
The concert will be held in Friendship’s main sanctuary at 7 p.m.
