This production was nominated for a 2009 Creative Loafing Theater award in Best Comedy category and won the award for Outstanding Lead Male in a Comedy (Sultan Omar El-Amin), is back. This play starts off in a sleepy southern town during the Jim Crow era. Its white citizens are ready for another day for business as usual, till they realize that all of their black citizens have disappeared without a trace. The town eventually falls into panic and the outcome is that the town will never be the same again. The twist comes when this show is pulled in reverse minstrel style, all black actors in “whiteface”. Quentin “Q” Talley, who was also nominated for best direction of a comedy, directs this reprise.
