The first annual “A Night for Children’s Rights “. Community members, supporters, volunteers and activists are encouraged to attend. Wes Moore, renowned author and activist will speak about the role public service plays in everyday life in changing the future for youth all over the country. In addition, Wes will visit Ranson Middle School at 1:45pm on the 13th to speak with students and encourage their continued learning.

Recently Wes appeared on Characters Unite: Bridging the Divide, as someone who is helping end social injustice.
Moore has been featured in media outlets such as People Magazine, The New York Times, The Washington Post, CSPAN and MSNBC
