Hiram Loel Watkins of Charlotte, NC, died suddenly on Friday December 10, 2010 at Carolinas Medical Center-University. He was 41 years old.

Hiram was currently a fulltime student at UNC Charlotte and had completed requirements for a degree in economics and was working to complete additional requirements for a degree in mathematics — both to have been conferred in May 2011.
He leaves to mourn and cherish fond memories: parents and his loving sister Mara Watkins of Atlanta, GA., a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, dear friends and classmates.
