The National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Charlotte, is hosting a political forum, Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 517 Baldwin Avenue in Charlotte.

Democratic and Republican candidates running for national, state and local office are expected to attend, including U.S. Congressman Mel Watt, state Senator Charlie Dannelly, N.C. Rep. Beverly Earle, Mecklenburg County Commission Chair Jennifer Roberts, Superior Court Judge Hugh Lewis and District Court Judge Tyyawdi Hands, among others.

Charlotte Observer columnist Fannie Flono will moderate the discussion.
