The Optimist Park Community Association will join hands with the Area 15 art community — MoaZen Jewelry, 24-7, and a number of Charlotte based businesses — to host the Optimist Park Back 2 School Block Party.
This event is the first in a series of annual community outreach initiatives targeting Optimist Park school-age youth and their families. The goal is to provide a positive and safe environment for community residents while encouraging education and preparing youth for the school year with an on-site school supply drive.
Supplies donated will be given to the schools located within or near the Optimist Park community.
