Denise Watts, the newly appointed Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools area superintendent for Central Zone secondary schools, will be the speaker at this week’s Tuesday Morning Breakfast Forum.

Watts, former principal at Spaugh Middle School, is credited with leading changes that led to higher test scores there. She was named area superintendent to replace Curtis Carroll, who will become principal at Phillip O. Berry.
