Friday Friends (Charlotteans representing different faiths, races, and cultures) will celebrate the breaking of boundaries and the correction of wrong assumptions with its third annual Friday Friends Festival.

Friday Friends helps people in the Queen City to connect with others who are of a different race, religion or culture.

The program will focus on connections made through Friday Friends and how those individual, personal relationships are helping to build bridges of friendship. Participants in Friday Friends commit to having lunch with one person each month for six months in an effort to get to know somebody outside their community or their faith. Over the years, more than 1000 people have committed to being lunch partners.
