Dress for Success opens new boutique

Dress for Success Charlotte’s new boutique and career transformation center includes a warehouse, six dressing rooms, a career center with computers, offices and a community room.

Dress for Success Charlotte has undergone its own transformation with its move from a 853-square-foot facility to a 5,000-square-foot site.

The public is invited to an open house Saturday, March 20, from 1-4 p.m.

The new boutique and career transformation center at 500-A Clanton Road includes a warehouse, six dressing rooms, a career center with computers, offices and a community room. The center is the result of $150,000 campaign. Donors may continue to contribute at Dress for Success Charlotte.

Dress for Success Charlotte Charlotte suits job-ready clients by referral only from nonprofit member organizations, including homeless shelters, domestic violence shelters, job training programs, and literacy programs. Clients receive, at no charge, two suits for interviews and a working suit once they get a job.
