It’s fashion week in New York, and although the city is under a blizzard warning, the show must go on.

Starting
next week, I’ll be in the Big Apple again to cover what will be the
last fashion week at Bryant Park. The event moves to the Lincoln Center
in September 2010.

Although I detest cold weather, I’ll layer up
and hit the tents and streets to take in the hustle and bustle of one
of the most spectacular fashion events of the year.

I’m excited to be your guide again. Among other things, I’ll tell you what’s in store for this fall.

With
the economy still sagging, designers are hoping to excite consumers
enough to lure them back into stores. I’m hoping to see lots of color,
texture and patterns. We’ll see whether designers will deliver.

Oh,
and don’t forget the celebrity elements. Last season the celebs were
everywhere. Let’s see if the cold and snow will keep the who’s who from
the front row.

I’ll keep you updated on this blog, as well as on Facebook and Twitter/shezrotn.
