Wilson Middle School will host its first “King’s Cook-Off Challenge” on Saturday, Dec. 5.
Dads, uncles, grandfathers and male friends will fire up their grills and prepare their best dishes. The event is a PTSA fundraiser to support school programs.
Approximately 25 men are expected to cook, including teachers, staff, area superintendent Curtis Carroll and Wilson Middle School Principal Eric Ward. Participants will prepare meals and present samples to the audience. The contestant with the most votes will receive a prize and earn the title “Cook-Off King.”
