This month begins the celebration of the bounty of our harvest times. As we prepare to celebrate the upcoming holidays, we must be mindful that every day is a day to be thankful. Let’s gather together and share in our continuous thankfulness. Have a gracious and blessed week.
The Rev. Glencie Rhedrick
Good Morning Lord,
I thank you this morning for Your plentiful bounty given to us this day. I thank you in advance for all that you have in store for our lives this day. Allow us, Oh Lord, to be good stewards over our talents, times and treasures You so graciously allowed us to have. Let us be a blessing to someone else this day.
We ask right now, Lord, that You forgive us for not walking in Your direction. We thank You for giving us another opportunity to get it right. Continue to protect us as we move about this day working in your vineyard.
Lord, continue to whisper your love, assurance and protection to those who feel empty and lost. Continue to put us in the path of those who need to know that You are a God who never fails.
Take care of the sick, the downtrodden and the lonely in this world. Continue to shine your light in us so they will know they are not alone. For You sent us to give a word, a smile or a touch that is guided only by You.
Never leave us nor forsake us, for we are striving daily to walk in Your path. It is in the name of Your son, Jesus the Christ, I give this prayer to You for us. Amen.
