Mecklenburg County Department of Social Services, Foresight Leadership Training and the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Community Relations Committee will host a summit to discuss issues that negatively impact the black community.
The meeting will bring together nonprofit groups and members of the faith community. Invited guests include community groups, health and human services and members of government and educational organizations.
Among the topics: How to eliminate overlapping programs and how to raise money during economic recession.
