Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are investigating a shooting at 4400 block of Rolling Hills Drive, which left 22-year-old Benizer Graham Jr. dead.
Shortly before 4 p.m. Monday, officers responded to multiple 911 calls in reference to shots fired in the parking lot of some apartments in the Hidden Valley neighborhood of north Charlotte. When officers arrived, the found Graham lying on the floor in another resident’s apartment. The Charlotte Fire Department and Medic responded ad Graham was pronounced dead at the scene.
Based on initial witness statements, Graham was shot after an argument in the parking lot. Homicide detectives late Monday were interviewing multiple witnesses. No suspects had been arrested.
