The Black Political Caucus will hold an uptown forum on Tuesday, Sept. 29 for candidates running for Charlotte mayor, city council and school board.
The event begins at 6:30 p.m. at Little Rock AME Zion Church, 401 N. McDowell St. Television journalist Shawn Flynn will moderate.
Caucus Chairwoman Gloria Rembert said each candidate will make opening remarks followed by a Q&A period. In addition to questions prepared by caucus members, audience members will get to submit question as well.
The caucus will use the event to prepare for its official endorsements on Sunday, Oct. 4.
