A 24-year-old lab technician was arrested early on Thursday and charged with killing Annie M. Le, the Yale University graduate student who was set to married on the day her body was found.

Raymond Clark III was taken into custody at a Super 8 motel in Cromwell, Conn., after DNA evidence linked him to Le’s killing, police said. Bail was set at $3 million, according to the New York Times.

Mr. Clark had been described as a “person of interest” in the case. He was earlier taken briefly into custody to that authorities, under court order, could obtain DNA and hair samples. He was then released, but police said they monitored his whereabouts at all times.

After being missing for several days, Le’s body was found hidden in the wall of a university building.
