Wanda Myshell Adams, 52, went home peacefully on August 16. She was born on July 20, 1957, in Charlotte. Wanda Myshell was the oldest of four children born to the late William Adams and Catherine Adams, both of Charlotte.
She was educated in New York and Baltimore, Md. She graduated from West Charlotte High School.
She loved her family and adored her friends. She was tough yet weak and loving. Wanda had a great sense of humor and loved life to the fullest. She loved reading her bible and asking questions when in doubt. She knew the Lord and he knew her.
Wanda Myshell leaves behind four children. One son preceded her in death, James Thompson; one daughter from Gary, Indiana, Natasha Adams; two sons, David Crump and Joel Adams, both of Charlotte; one grandchild, Kierra Adams; three sisters Donzie Spears of Baltimore, Md., Jackie Wade and Trenice Norman, both of Charlotte; one brother Jeffrey Adams; five aunts, Ruby Climons, Patricia Robinson, Ruth R. Copes, Helen Reed and Emma Adams and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral arrangements are private.
