Ms. Boyd was called to her eternal home on Tuesday, August 18. She was born in Charlotte, January 29, 1950, to Howard Caldwell and Carrie Lee Boyd whom she leaves to cherish her memories.
She also leaves one son, Bryant B. Boyd of Charlotte; five grandchildren, three sisters, two brothers, one step-daughter, a life-long friend Etta Glover and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, August 22 at 2 p.m., with visitation starting at 1 p.m. at First Mount Zion Church on Remount Road.
Alexander Funeral Home is serving the family.
