An assistant dean at UNC Charlotte has been arrested and charged with embezzlement.
NewsChannel 36 is reporting today that Ashley Postell, an assistant dean over Greek life, was arrested Tuesday by UNCC campus police and charged with six counts of embezzlement.
Mecklenburg County Jail records show that someone by that same name, age 27, was arrested around midday Tuesday. She was released on bond.
UNC Charlotte Officials could not immediately be reached.
The school’s Web site shows that an employee named Ashley Postell was hired in July 2006. Her official title is Assistant Dean of Students for Greek Life, meaning she oversees the activities of sororities and fraternities on campus.
