Avery Bernard Cooper was born April 22, 1966, in Charlotte, NC to Leola Cooper Ford and Marcel Ray Cooper, Sr., who preceded him in death. He departed this life on June 11, 2009, at Carolinas Medical Center, University.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at Silver Mount Baptist Church, 501 W. Arrowood Road, Charlotte. Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Burial will be at Beatties Ford Memorial Gardens.
Avery was a graduate of Olympic High School class of 1984. He leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife, Candace; children, JaQuan and Mya; his loving parents Alton and Leola Ford; brothers, Marcel Cooper Jr., Darron (Rhonda) Cooper; Tony (Christina) Booker and Alton Wayne (Kim) Ford; a twin sister, Richele Denise Cooper; uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
