A concert promoter is taking Michael Jackson to court, alleging the King of Pop breached a contract to play a reunion concert in the United States with other family members.
Allgood Entertainment is asking for $40 million, according to published reports.
The company says the deal called for Jackson not to perform elsewhere before the event or for at least three months after it. Jackson is scheduled to perform next month in London.
Allgood said the concert was to include Janet and the other members of The Jackson 5 – Marlon, Jackie, Tito and Jermaine.
