Sorry, Chris, but the case must go on.

In California today, two judges said no to Chris Brown’s request to delay his preliminary hearing on assault charges.

According to the Associated Press, his attorney argued that the case should wait for a related California Supreme Court decision. But two justices from California’s Second District Court of Appeal disagreed. They gave no reason.

The R&B singer’s preliminary hearing is now scheduled for June 22, the AP says.
