At last report, Chinese officials had not released New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin, who was quarantined Sunday, along with is wife and a security guard, because they traveled on a flight from New Jersey with a person who showed possible symptoms of swine flu.

Nagin’s office said the three were quarantined in a hotel as a precaution and were exhibiting no flu symptoms.

“His spirits are fine,” Nagin’s spokeswoman Ceeon Quiett told The Associated Press today in New Orleans. She did not know when the three might be released or whether they’d be tested for the flu.
