Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police today charged Tanya Renee Dixon, 39, with the June 1 shooting death of William Thomas Young, 27.
The incident occurred Monday around 9:24 a.m. inside a home in the 5800 block of Rocky Mount Court. When officers responded to a call at that address, they discovered that a fight had occurred inside the home.
Young was pronounced dead shortly after arrival at Mercy Hospital.
Police say the suspect and victim were acquainted.
