Mr. Billy William Flowe was born October 11, 1941, to the late Mr. & Mrs. Robert Flowe in Cabarrus County. He was the youngest of 11 children. He departed this life on April 27, 2009.
Mr. Flowe attended the public schools of Cabarrus County, and was a 1959 Graduate of Logan High School in Concord. He attended Barber-Scotia College, Concord. Mr. Flowe enlisted in the U.S. Army, and served his country for six years, receiving an honorable discharge.
He was employed with various trucking firms as a driver. Before retiring he was employed with the Charlotte Observer.
Mr. Flowe was preceded in death by his wife Mrs. Virginia Flowe.
He leaves in God’s care to cherish his loving memories a host of nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and a special companion, Ms. Lorraine Lawrence.
