The Black Law Student Association at Charlotte School of Law is hosting a networking and charity event to benefit children in Haiti.
The event certainly will include its share of legal types, but all professions are welcome. The entire $5 cover charge will go to Meds & Food for Kids, a nonprofit that provides medicine and food for Haitian children.
“Haitian families face a daily struggle for food, medicine, clean water and their basic needs,” the student group said in a press statement.
The Charlotte School of Law opened three years ago and will graduate its first class in May.
