The Rev. Robert Lee Mackey Sr., 66, of Monroe, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories his devoted and loving wife of 45 years, Margie Ruth Chambers-Mackey; his children, Robin Mackey McKinney (Charlotte), Robert Lee (Kimberley) Mackey Jr. (Monroe), Gerald Mackey (Gastonia), U.S. Air Force Master Sergeant Kelvin (Veda Cureton) Mackey (Anchorage, Alaska), Sabrina (Larry) Mackey-Moore (Charlotte); fourteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
